Packet Pick Up- Inside of GIHS Gym:
Saturday, March 24: 12-6
Race Morning: Starting at 5:30am

New 2 Person Half Marathon Relay (Sold Out)

  • 7.6 & 5.5 Mile Legs
  • Transition at Grosse Ile Water Treatment plant on West River
  • Shuttle from High School will take 2nd leg runners to transition area
  • Shuttle will return 1st leg runners to high school for finish
  • Relay Runners will receive: Special Edition Long Sleeve Tech Shirt & Medal

Special Note: Grosse Ile is an island connected by two bridges. The north end bridge costs $2 to enter. The south end bridge is Free. Please note that because of trains and possible bridge openings your travel time could be delayed. Please plan to arrive on the island early to make sure you have ample time to prepare.

Parking Info

Leave the driving to Us – GI Airport School Bus Shuttle to GIHS

Grosse Ile Airport (9600 Groh Rd.- Follow Signs to Airport from Bridges)

3 Busses Will Run

First Shuttle starts at 5:30am and runs until 7:30am

Returning shuttles start from GIHS at 9:00am

*Note: There is a short path that will take you from GIHS to the Start Line at GI Middle School.

Grosse Ile High School- Limited lot that will fill up very early.
